Brewers pitcher Aaron Ashby set a new postseason record for relievers with 18 consecutive scoreless innings in a single postseason, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. He achieved this milestone during Game 4 of the World Series against the Rays, surpassing Andrew Miller's previous record.
Despite Ashby's performance, the Brewers lost the game 4-3 in 12 innings after he had departed.
